What's it all about?
Our aim is to bring Real Affordable Nutrition to the Western Suburbs.
We are a social enterprise and start-up focused on providing real food to mainstream people. Our current food system is sick. The food people are eating out West is mostly highly processed and most people can't afford inner city organic prices for food with real nutritional value.
We only supply food that we know is free from chemical fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides. The best way to know for sure food is safe is with Certified Organic products, or in conversion products.
Keeping the price down is tricky in organics but its about three things: not over capitalising on expensive rent or machinery, minimal marketing and establishing direct mutually beneficial relationships with certified and 'in conversion' growers.
We are doing this and hoping to keep prices reasonable long term.
